About Me.

I graduated from Paul Mitchell The School Cleveland in 2019 and earned my Associate’s Degree in Business from Kent State University in 2020. I’ve now been a licensed stylist for seven years and have spent the last five years growing my own business, MacKenzie Hair Co.

Along the way, I’ve also had the opportunity to become a National Educator for AQUA Hair Extensions. I’ve been with AQUA for five years and have had the opportunity to travel around the country educating and certifying other stylists in AQUA extensions. Teaching has become such a special part of my career, and I love being able to share what I’ve learned with other stylists. I’ve also had the opportunity to work New York Fashion Week, which is still one of those moments that makes me think, “How is this my life?”

Behind the chair, I specialize in blonding, lived in dimensional color, extensions, and bridal hair. I love creating customized color and extension looks that feel effortless, beautiful, and completely tailored to each client. My favorite part of what I do is helping my clients feel confident and like the absolute best version of themselves.

When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me traveling, planning my next trip, spending time with my dog Mazie, or finding an excuse to make a weekend out of just about anything. I genuinely love being able to travel for both work and fun, and I’m always looking forward to my next adventure.

I feel incredibly lucky that something I dreamed about as a kid has turned into a career and business that I truly love. Five years of business, eight years behind the chair, and so many amazing experiences later, I’m still just as excited about what’s next.
